Miner Elite Basketball is for Boys and Girls grades 4th-12th in the Northern Nevada area.
Our focus is to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
We offer Camps, Clinics, and Elite Traveling Teams.

Boy's Director Luke Babbit
Coach Luke moved to Reno when he was 10 years old. He attended Huffacker Elementary, Pine Middle School, and Galena High School. At Galena he was two time Gatorade State Player of the Year, won a State Championship in 2007, set the State Scoring Record in 2008, and was a McDonald All American. After high school he attended UNR for 2 years before being selected 16th in the NBA draft. Luke played 8 season in the NBA with 4 different teams and currently ranks 37th all-time 3 point shooting percentage. In 2022 he was hired as the Head Coach of Bishop Manogue High School. In his first season his team won the Regional Championship and competed in the State Tournament.Girl's Director Sara Ramirez
Coach Sara has been coaching in Northern Nevada since 2001. She has been a very successful High School Coach with 5 Regional Championships (2007, 2011, 2012, 2022, 2023), 1 State Championship (2012), and 8 State appearances (2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2022, 2023). Coach Sara has had girls play at UNR, UOP, and UCONN.Girl's Coach Sam Reynolds
Coach Sam has been a teacher and coach in Northern Nevada since 2014. He has a Master’s degree in education, and a bachelor’s in History, Political Science, and Spanish. He’s a NASM certified personal trainer and nutrition coach and has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years.Girl's Coach Brinna Bass
Coach Brinna has been coaching in Northern Nevada since 2018. She won a Nevada State Basketball Championship in 2013. She has a degree in Exercise Science and is a NASM certified personal trainer, sports nutrition coach, and performance enhancement specialist.
- MissionMiner Elite Basketball offers kids from 4th grade through 12th grade a higher level of competition while developing fundamental basketball skills. Player development is stressed and disciplined, team-oriented play is emphasized. Practice time and advanced training are provided to enhance the skills of each player with the goal and vision of having players ready to play at the high school level
